Certipol™ SLS 2010 P is a biodegradable 30% active anionic surfactant used for the manufacture of polymer emulsions. It is an excellent emulsifying and solubilizing agent. Its main utility is in the emulsion polymerization of such monomers as vinyl chloride, styrene-acrylic and styrene-butadiene. It can also be used in industrial applications where its ability to emulsify and disperse hydrophobic materials can help clean fats, oils and dirt off surfaces.

  • It is recommended to store Certipol™ SLS 2010 P in stainless steel, aluminum, or metal for reaction and storage vessels.
  • Glass and rubber are suitable lining materials. Some of the resinous coating are satisfactory in storage tanks if the coating is built up to 20 mils.
